Migos’ Offset Propose To Cardi B On Stage

Migos rapper Offset and Cardi B are officially engaged.

The Atlanta rapper proposed to the “Bodak Yellow” rapper on stage while performing at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia on Friday night. The couple was in the middle of their set when Offset decided to pull out a giant diamond ring and drop on his knees in front of Cardi B. The video below shows her being excited and emotional before saying yes as the crowd went wild.

“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, [Ofset] I loveee you so much,” Cardi B wrote on Instagram while showing off her ring. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me .For giving me advice molding me and loving me .Your such a amazing man to me your family ,friends ,kids and you are extremely talented.I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you .Lets make a lot shmoney and love together.”

The engagement comes just a week after the couple broke up for 16 hours and it all played out on social media. So now everyone is wondering if that was a publicity stunt or was it a genuine breakup. Whatever it was, it sure as hell works out in Cardi B’s favor because by the end of the week she got a giant diamond ring. There were a bunch of reports that allege that she broke up with Offset just three days after her ex-boyfriend Tommy was released from prison. Some folks on Twitter were saying that she used the Migos rapper to gain fame and then dumped him. But judging from what she has been saying on social media about Offset this week, that could not be the case.

Offset baby mama also congratulate the couple on Instagram but not without throwing a few shade. “Congrats to my son daddy and his step mother whom he have yet to mee,” Oriel Jaime wrote. “Hopefully he at least get an invite to the wedding.”

Yanique Curvy Diva responds To Christian Backlash

Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett is defending herself amidst growing backlash from the Christian community.

The dancehall deejay/TV host has been getting some hear from Christians who are calling on her to change her lifestyle. Barrett says that this is not the first time that the Christian community is turning its attention towards her. In her defense, she is simply asking for a word of prayer rather than more judgments. “I had on clothes so for them to go so hard and tell me I need to find Jesus is too much,” she said. “Is weh dem know bout me and God.”

The Curvy Diva added that the not because she is a sex symbol means that she is lacking morals doesn’t have a relationship with god. She said regardless of the criticism, she will maintain her faith in god. “Sometimes, they just need to give me a break,” she added. “They are too hard, and sometimes things nuh called for. I have a relationship with God. I grew up Adventist, so regardless of being a dancehall artiste, I’ll always have that connection with God. I go to Church, but it’s not even about going to Church, it’s more about having a relationship with God. I pray before I go on a dancehall stage, and knowing that I have a relationship where I can call on God is more important to me than saying I’m a Christian or not.”

Yanique ‘Curvy Diva’ Barrett is currently getting ready to release the music video for her debut single “Lifestyle.” The video was shot in Jamaica last month and will premiere on Dancehallhiphop.com sometime soon.

Rihanna Gets Backlash For Vogue Arabia Cover Here Is Why

Rihanna Gets Backlash For Vogue Arabia Cover Here Is Why

Rihanna is on the cover of Vogue Arabia and both she and the magazine have been getting some backlash.

Aside from making some people very unhappy, Rihanna sure looks stunning on the cover of the fashion bible’s issue for the Middle East. Her beauty is unmatched right now and she is killing the fashion and makeup industry with her Fenty brand. But is this just another big name celebrity crossing the cultural appropriation line. “Celebrating Queen Nefertiti, @badgalriri is our November queen of style,” Vogue wrote on Twitter.

“Can someone explain why rihanna was on the cover for vogue arabia,” one fan tweeted. On her cover photo, the magazine dressed Rihanna to pay homage to one of Egypt’s most celebrated historic figures, Queen Nefertiti. Rihanna is clearly a fan of Nefertiti since she has a giant tattoo of her on her torso and while some readers of the magazine are clearly angry, the vast majority of RiRi’s fans are excited to see her paying homage to one of the most famous female icons this world has ever seen.

This is not the first time that Vogue is getting a backlash for featuring a celebrity on the cover of one of its niche issue. Earlier this year, Vogue India featured Kendall Jenner on the cover for its 10-year anniversary issue and that cause a big uproar. “India has given the world so many beautiful faces to admire,” the magazine said in a statement. “After all, we are Vogue, an international brand, and we want to give the love back by featuring some of the best international celebrities on our covers. Occasionally!”

Rihanna has already covered Vogue magazine at least a dozen times and she is widely regarded as one of the most influential forces in fashion of this generation
