It’s pretty safe to say Drake is having one hell of a year. But, it’s a little unfair to just count this year right? Last year, Drake dropped If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late during the first quarter of 2015 which went No. 1. Then in a strange turn of events after Meek Mill made ghostwriting accusations against Drake, Meek and Drizzy engaged in an all out war of rhymes which Drake came out as the victor (and received a Grammy nod for “Back to Back”).

Finally, Drake tore a page out of Sun Tzu’s best-seller The Art of War and did an entire project with Future titled, What a Time to Be Alive. So it’s safe to say that Drake has been having a pretty damn good almost year and a half? Go figure.

Drake’s sixth album Views has just gone triple platinum thanks to the good folks over at RIAA now making streams equivalent to album sales, putting Drake in the driver’s seat as far as sales go.
