Lil Wayne didn’t get a big enough piece of the $100 million pie, that he says Birdman received from Universal Music Group distribution deal.

According to a fresh round of legal documents reported by TMZ, Wayne says Birdman confessed to spending around $70 million on royalties, marketing and recording costs. The Cash Money Records founder reportedly supplied Tunechi’s lawyer with more than 20,000 pages of document to prove that he spent the money on business expenses.

However, Wayne says the money isn’t adding up because the $70 million isn’t included in the paper trail, which is significant since the “Grateful” rapper is suing Cash Money for $51 million.
The two have been going at it in court for well over a year now, and it looked like Wayne was inching towards retirement to fully wash his hands of the legal battle.

He addressed the issue on ESPN earlier this week. “This is business,” Wayne told Skip Bayless. “I have a family, I have kids, I have a mother, we got bills. Once the business is right, then everything is right.”
