The building, which is named Premier Tower, will be designed by architecture firm Elenberg Fraser and will be located at 134 Spencer Street in front of Southern Cross Station. The skyscraper will have 68 stories with 660 apartments and a 160 room hotel. The source of inspiration is preciously Beyonc’s “Ghost” video, where singer’s body is wrapped in a smooth fabric, showing the well toned frame and curves.“The twists and turns of this new project belie its pure and simple, first principles rationale. This project is the culmination of our significant research into how to best work with individual site, climate and constraints, brought together using our new parametric modeling techniques. The complex form – a vertical cantilever – is actually the most effective way to redistribute the building mass, giving the best result in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements…For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic – we’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyonce’s Ghost.CJPO4X-WIAAClaV” The Elenburg Fraser Website says. The design has been approved by firm’s planning officials in May, specifically keeping in mind the climate changes and the dispersion. There is no word on the completion date of the project. Originally, the firm came up with a 1000 apartment’s proposal which was rejected later.CJO2trHWgAEC6QI

“Ghost” is a song from Beyounce’s fifth studio album and was released in 2013. Beyounce is mostly wearing flowing black silk in the video.
