Suge Knight Drops Nightclub Shooting Lawsuit Against Chris Brown

Sure Knight has changed his mind about suing Chis Brown. The onetime rap mogul dropped his lawsuit against Breezy after the “Party” singer’s lawyer threatened a counter suit, TMZ reports.

Last year, Knight filed a lawsuit against Brown in connection with a 2014 shooting at 1Oak nightclub that left him with multiple gunshot wounds. Knight alleged that Brown, who was performing at the venue for a MTV VMAS party, failed to provide accurate security thus allowing a gun to get inside. 1Oak was also named in the suit.

According to TMZ, Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos sent a letter claiming that Knight’s suit would be thrown out. He also threatened to file a malicious prosecution suit against the Death Row Records co-founder, which was apparently enough encouragement for him to toss the lawsuit.

Ironically enough, Knight was shot at another party for the MTV VMAs, back in 2005. The 52-year-old Compton native has been locked up for the last two years as he awaits the start of his murder trial which is scheduled to begin in January.

‘We were all abused’: Former member of Pussycat Dolls Kaya Jones says the band was a front for a ‘prostitution ring’ and the singers were ‘passed around’ and ‘abused’ by industry executives

Kaya Jones, 33, has spoken out with stunning accusations about Pussycat Dolls
Jones joined the girl group as a teenager in 2003 and quit two years later
She says members were ‘passed around’ by music industry executives
Allegations come as Weinstein sex harassment claims implode Hollywood
A former member of the Pussycat Dolls has claimed that the girl group operated as a ‘prostitution ring’, with the members forced into sex with entertainment executives.
Kaya Jones, 33, made the explosive accusation in a serious of tweets on Saturday and Sunday, accusing managers and executives of taking advantage of the group she joined as a teenager in 2003.
‘My truth. I wasn’t in a girl group. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous. While everyone who owned us made the $,’ Jones wrote.
‘How bad was it? people ask – bad enough that I walked away from my dreams, bandmates & a 13 million dollar record deal. We knew we were going to #1,’ she continued.
After just two years as a member, Jones in 2005 quit the group, which was assembled by choreographer Robin Antin under a deal with Interscope Geffen A&M Records.
Antin did not immediately respond to request for comment on Jones’ allegation.
The Pussycat Dolls are one of the best-selling girl groups of all times, selling 53million records worldwide before their breakup in 2010.
Jones’ startling allegations come as mounting sexual harassment and assault allegation rock the entertainment industry, most notably regarding film producer Harvey Weinstein.
She said that part of being in the girl group was being told to sleep with executives.
‘To be apart of the team you must be a team player. Meaning sleep with whoever they say. If you dont they have nothing on you to leverage,’ Jones said.
‘Yes I said leverage. Meaning after they turn you out or get you hooked on drugs they use it against you. Correct. Victimizing the victim again,’ she continued.
‘Robin & the record label made all the money. We as Pussycat Dolls were paid $500 a week. While we were being abused & used. Fact!’ she wrote.
Jones said that she had tried speaking up to the entertainment press in the past but had been brushed aside by journalists in the thrall of Hollywood and music industry titans.
She performed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on October 1 shortly before a gunman killed 58 and injured hundreds, and said the experience galvanized her to speak out publicly.
‘I finally feel the weight I’ve held in my heart lifted & mending. It’s been hard to hold lies in for people who broke me. No more,’ Jones wrote.
‘I hope more women & men come out & share their abuse & pain. We must shine a light on this issue in the entertainment business,’ she said.

Rapper Mystikal Turns Self Into Cops Charged With Rape

Rapper Mystikal Turns Self Into Cops Charged With Rape

Rapper Mystikal is looking at a mountain of legal troubles after turning himself into cops and slapped with a rape charge.

A few days ago an arrest warrant was issued by the Shreveport PD for Mystikal. But before cops could get a hold of him he turned himself in on Monday and is now behind bars at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department, PageSix reported. The New Orleans rapper has not issued a statement nor his reps could be reached for a comment but he is facing some serious charges.

Back in 2016, a Louisiana woman filed a police report claiming that she was raped and the Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Investigators immediately launched an investigation. DNA evidence was sent to a lab which eventually identified Mystikal, real name Michael Tyler, and another man name Averweone Holman as the suspects in the rape case.

Tyler, 46, and Holman, 26, were both charged with first-degree rape which could send them to prison for up to 20 years. Their bond is set at a whopping $2 million each. Holman was arrested on August 18, the same day that an arrest warrant was issued for Mystikal’s arrest, but the rapper turned himself into the Caddo Correctional Center on Monday. Another associate of the rapper name Tenichia Wafford was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree rape. According to the police report, Wafford allegedly went to the rape victim and asked her to drop the charges against the two men. She didn’t and reported it to cops. Wafford bail was set much lower than the two men at $200,000.

Mystikal has been mostly missing from the rap scene since scoring two massive hit singles “Shake Ya Ass” and “Danger” released in 2000. His 2000 album Let’s Get Ready was certified double platinum by the RIAA and peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. His last album Tarantula was released in 2001.

Five Times JAY-Z Disses Kanye West On “4:44”

Five Times JAY-Z Disses Kanye West On “4:44”

JAY-Z has finally broken his silence on his relationship with Kanye West on his new album 4:44.

Last year November, Kanye West went on a rant on stage his Saint Pablo tour where he accused JAY-Z of being a bad friend by putting business over their friendship and also hiring hitman. He also claimed that Hov didn’t check up on him and his wife Kim Kardashian when she got robbed in Paris. Shortly after that famous rant, Kanye was hospitalized for a nervous breakdown. Doctors say he was suffering from dehydration and exhaustion that triggered a psychic break.

This is the first time that JAY-Z is addressing Kanye West. On the first single on the album “Kill JAY-Z,” Hov raps about Kanye West having a “f**k everybody” attitude. “You dropped outta school, you lost your principles/ I know people backstab you, I feel bad too/ But this fuck everybody attitude ain’t natural,” Hov raps. During his rant in November, Kanye West didn’t just call out JAY-Z, he also spoke out against the industry.

On the same single, the Roc Nation rapper took more shots at Ye rapping, “You gave him 20 million without thinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f**k was he thinkin’?/ ‘F**k wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.” Here JAY-Z to a business deal between himself and Kanye West worth $20 million. At first people thought that Hov simply gave Ye $20 million as a gift, but rumors started circulating that it was a business deal that went sour. A few years ago there was also some rumors circulating claiming that Kanye West owes JAY-Z $20 million.the single “Bam” featuring Damian Marley, JAY-Z responded to one of Kanye West’s famous lines on an old track. “Uh, ni**as is skippin’ leg day just to run they mouth/ I be skipping leg day/ I still run the world,” Hov raps. On the single “30 Minutes” Kanye West famously rap about his workout session. “I hit the gym/ All chest no legs,” Ye raps. JAY-Z single also sampled Sister Nancy classic dancehall single.

One of JAY-Z and Kanye West biggest collaborative single is “Ni**as In Paris” and now Jay has a few reference to Paris on his single “Caught Their Eyes” where he raps, “Don’t big bro me, don’t big homie/ I’ve seen pure admiration become rivals/ I’ve been to Paris at least two times/ I’ve seen the Eiffel, I’ve seen an eye full.”

There is another line on the single “Kill JAY-Z” where Hov reference Eric Benet, but some fans on Twitter are saying that he is dropping shades on Kanye West. “You almost went Eric Benét / Let the baddest girl in the world get away / I don’t even know what else to say / Ni**a, never go Eric Benét!”
