Meek Mill wants to make it clear that he had nothing to do with the robbery that took place at his ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj’s, Los Angeles mansion earlier this week.
As we previously reported, a thief of thieves broke into Nicki’s home and trashed the place, before hauling off $200,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables.
Some of Nikki’s clothing had been cut up, perfume bottles were broken, picture frames destroyed and furniture was damaged.
Nikki wasn’t home at the time of the robbery. The Los Angeles Police Department have opened an investigation into the crime. Surveillance footage is being looked at for clues, but there are no suspects at this time.
TMZ caught up with Meek, who is in Houston for Sunday’s Super Bowlgame between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots. The Philadelphia rapper was incredulous that anyone would even think that he was somehow involved.
“Do it look like I rob people?” Meek said, while showing off his flashy jewelry. “I got about [$450,000] on my neck … about [$80,000] on the wrist. Do it look like I rob people?”
The reporter asked him if had talked to Nicki since the robbery and was told to mind his business.
“You’re asking too many f*cking questions about my personal life,” Meek responded.
