Alkaline has been stamping his authority in dancehall over the past few weeks with a slew of new singles. On Friday, the Vendetta hitmaker released a new banger titled “Fine Whine.” The relationship anthem was produced by Black Shadow and is currently available on all major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
“Baby me love every part a yo / But if yo style me mi ago come off a yo / Naan go invest my money and yo tek mi fi fool / No it naan go so / Cuz remember say the two a we no start ya so / Me love yo deep in a me heart ya so,” Alkaline sings.
The Internet was abuzz regarding the notion that Donald Glover/Childish Gambino might have plagiarized his number one-hit “This Is America.”
According to a Reddit forum, the viral track from the Awaken, My Love! musician has several sonic and lyrical similarities to Jase Harley’s “American Pharoah.” The New Jersey musician released his debut album Free Pxrn: The Memoir Of An American Heathen in 2016.
“Idgaf if you love yourself some gambino, this is robbery. Dude gets knocked down in my book for this one,” a Twitter user wrote, while another commented, “Jamie Foxx talking about This Is America [at the 2018 BET Awards] and we found out Donald Glover stole the song today…”
While Glover hasn’t commented on the similarities and the Internet chatter, his manager Fam Udeorji had a few words in a since-deleted tweet.
“The Internet is a place for no consequences,” he wrote on Monday (Jun. 25). “I hate that Toronto Akademiks/ every white blogger can say something as gospel and y’all take it.”
Udeorji also wrote that the track couldn’t have been plagiarized since it’s not as new as everyone thinks.
“[‘This Is America’] is 3 yrs old, and we have pro tools files to prove it,” he continued. “But f**k you and your moms, and your future fetuses. stay blessed.”

On Tuesday, they both shared a one-minute clip on Instagram and captioned it with a side eye emoji. Breezy’s fans immediately erupted into a frenzy over the clip.

As to whether or not they are officially an item, that’s still up for debate, but they are surely enjoying each other’s company in this clip. Cardi revealed in a snappy statement on June 25, that she and Offset actually tied the knot one month prior to their public engagement.

Capleton had his bail extended when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court last Thursday.
The reggae/dancehall legend is currently out on a $250,000 bail while he awaits trial for a rape case. Capleton was arrested in May and charged with rape after a female filed a police report claiming that the entertainer sexually assaulted her at a hotel in Kingston on April 28. The female claimed that Capleton hired her to groom his hair at a hotel in Kingston, but when she went, he forced her to have sex with him.
Capleton denied the allegations and some sources say the female victim was trying to extort money from the reggae singer. He also filed a police report but the female complainant was never charged with a crime. Capleton returns to court on July 13.
